Successful knowledge transfer to Uponor partners

Training programmes for our Uponor partners are the key factor to transfer knowledge and to increase service level in countries where Uponor is not active with own offices.

From 6th to 10th of July Uponor had organised a seminar week at the Academy locations in Zella-Mehlis and Hassfurt, Germany with 25 participants from the United Arab Emirates, China, Slovenia, Serbia, Iceland, Lebanon and Syria. The main topics of the seminar included:

• HSE advanced calculation software training
• Thermal comfort with radiant heating
• Underfloor heating and hydraulic balancing
• Renewable energy sources and Uponor solutions
• Floor and ceiling cooling
• Plumbing systems and hygienic aspects of tap water systems
• Pre-insulated pipe systems

The highlights were also the training room in Zella-Mehlis in which simulation of underfloor heating and cooling are possible and have been of much interest. The programme was rounded up by an “underground” tour in the world heritage city of Bamberg and other activities which let enough time for intensive discussions and to become acquainted with each other.

The comments of participants show the high acceptance and professionalism of the program: “The quality of trainers is highly above my expectations.” Also they remarked on the positive effects on their daily jobs:
“It is a good chance to learn more and work better”.
